Food Drive Update - 973 items were donated in Week #3!

Thank you for your response thus far in the May 2022 “Fill the Pantry” Drive. We have two more weeks to go.

Donations may be placed in the bins during all worship services at the FH Campus or brought to the Church Office during business hours.

Monetary donations (used to purchase perishable items such as Milk, Cheese, Eggs, Bread, Ground Beef, etc.): Cash or Checks made out to the “Fairview Heights Food Pantry” can be dropped off Attention to Kevin Nowak - at the FH Campus Welcome Center or at the Church Office during Business Hours.

As we move into Week #4, the Pantry requests “NO” Corn, Green Beans, Peas, at this time since they have plenty of these items on hand.

They have an ongoing need for the following items:

Kids cereals
Canned Meats (chicken breast, spam, ham, tuna, potted meat)
Canned Meals (beef stew, chicken & dumplings, chili, Manwich for sloppy joes, Ravioli, etc.)
Boxed Meals (hamburger/tuna helper, Chef Boyardee meals, etc.)
Spaghetti Sauces & Soups (Ragu, Alfredo, cream of mushroom, cream of potato, clam chowder, any cream soups, tomato)
Canned Fruits (peaches, pears, pineapple, applesauce, fruit cocktail)
Alternate Canned Vegetables (Potatoes, Beets, Carrots, Tomatoes, Baked beans, Butter beans, Pinto Beans, Spinach, Sauerkraut, etc.)
Instant Potatoes (packets/boxes of mashed, au gratin or scalloped)
Rice (bags or instant packets)
Noodles (egg, dumplings, pasta)
Sugar (granular, powdered and brown)
Cooking Oil
Cake Mixes & Frosting
Pancake Mix & Syrup
Pudding & Jello Cups
Crackers (saltine / oyster)
Healthy Snacks (granola bars, fruit rollups, etc.)
Coffee & Tea
Spices (salt, pepper, mrs. dahs, dried minced onions, minced garlic, etc)
Juices (apple, grape, cranberry, etc.)
Baby Needs (Powdered Formula, Baby food)
Paper Products (Kleenex, bathroom tissue, paper towels)
Soaps (hand soap, dish soap, laundry soap)
Sanitizers (hand, counter top)
Personal Items (toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, women’s hygiene products, diapers).

“All it takes is what you can give…..One can, One box, One case, it all matters to those who struggle.”

The Fairview Heights Food Pantry is currently supporting 110+ Family units (300+ people) each month.
