Faith and Friendship Wednesday Winter Sessions from 1/5/22 – 3/30/22

It’s the perfect time to connect with women of all ages for encouragement, prayer, friendship and faith conversations based in Scripture as you deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ!

SIX New Wednesday Study Group Options to choose From starting January 4th! All Wednesday Groups meet from 10am – Noon at the Christ Church FVH Campus.

TWO New Tuesday Study Group Options to choose from starting January 5th! The Tuesday morning group (10-11:30am) meets online via Zoom each week and the Tuesday evening group (6-8:00pm) meets at the Christ Church FVH Campus.

Childcare is available for infants 6 weeks through preschoolers up to 5 years old from 9:45am to 12:15pm. Parents must stay on campus and must pre-register weekly at the link above.

A kids’ devotion and activities will also be available in the gym for school children in Kindergarten through 6th Grade. School age children will also have a special program with 2 1/2 hours of fun —learning about the Bible, life skills, art, science, games, character building story and skit/improv, and snacks and indoor/outdoor active time. All children must be registered weekly at mychristchurch.com/faithandfriendship.

Faith & Friendship Monthly Schedule:

1st, 2nd and 3rd Wednesday of each month – meet with your study group
4th Wednesday – All groups will come together for a Potluck Brunch (while children are still in childcare).
5th Wednesday – All groups will be together for craft day (children will be in childcare).

Option A: Devotion & Book Study
Book titled: Life by Lisa Harper
An Obsessively Grateful, Undone by Jesus, Genuinely Happy, and Not Faking it Through the Hard Stuff kind of Devotional. The devotion and scripture are presented by a table facilitator in a discussion format.
Led by: Pati Church & Nancy Weber
No weekly preparation or purchase required.

Option B: Right Now Media Video Study
Study titled: The Book of Philippians by Jo Saxton
The life Jesus invites us into when we follow Him is one of sacrifice. But does sacrificial living mean the Christian should be riddled with sorrow? Paul answers that question in his letter to the Philippians with a resounding no. Join this study to find out why!

Option C: Video Study
Study titled: How Happiness Happens by Max Lucado
Do you want to know more about life altering, uplifting, heart-stabilizing, peace producing joy? You will discover a way of life—backed by Jesus’ teaching and modern research that produces a happiness that lasts.

Option D: Video Study
Study titled: One In A Million by Priscilla Shirer
One In A Million is an opportunity for you to experience your deliverance from strongholds, to conquer your wilderness living, and to claim your God-given inheritance.
Led by: Vicki Hake
Preparation required with more in-depth study, reading, and questions each week. Book purchase required.

Option E: Book Study
Book titled: In His Image by Jen Wilken
Explore ten characteristics of who God is–holy, loving, just, good, merciful, gracious, faithful, patient, truthful, and wise. This book helps us understand who God intends for us to be.
Led by: Linda Duncan
Preparation required. One chapter weekly with Scriptures and questions for reflection. Book purchase required.

Option F: Book Study
Study titled: Disciplines of a Godly Woman by Barbara Hughes
Study of spiritual disciplines as outlined in the Bible. Prayer, worship, contentment, sabbath, marriage, and more.
Led by: Kelli Tobin
Group size is limited in order to encourage in-depth discussion.

Option G: Tuesday Morning Book Study
Book titled: In His Image by Jen Wilken
Explore ten characteristics of who God is–holy, loving, just, good, merciful, gracious, faithful, patient, truthful, and wise. This group meets from 10:00am to 11:30am online through Zoom. Led by Sandy Hodel

Option H: Tuesday Evening Devotion Study
Book titled: Life by Lisa Harper
An Obsessively Grateful, Undone by Jesus, Genuinely Happy, and Not Faking it Through the Hard Stuff kind of Devotional. We meet from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. No childcare. Lap babies only can be with mom. Led by: Pati Church and Nancy Weber

Option I: Sisters in Christ
Mentor/mentee will meet in person at Christ Church on the 4th Wednesday of each month (between 10:00 – 12:00) for one on one time in the Coffee Cafe, or attend Potluck Brunch with Faith & Friendship Connect Group, and/or on the 5th Wednesday attend Craft Day. Childcare and school-age class–if space is available. Must pre-register weekly.
