Special Needs Ministry

The purpose of this ministry is to foster inclusion inside the life of the church for the individual with additional needs and for their family. Wonderfully Made provides opportunities for an individual with special needs to connect with their peers and small group leaders during church programming and events. We do this by providing “buddies”, which are trained volunteers, that work one on one with each individual to help them connect in a way that works best for them. Our buddies offer support within a classroom setting with their peers, and also in our age-appropriate sensory support classrooms. We also offer 2-3 respite events per year and a monthly connect group for parents/caregivers. We do our best to ensure that Christ Church is a place where everyone feels welcomed and supported.

Our Mission

Our mission is to connect individuals with special needs with Jesus Christ.
There are various ways that we work toward accomplishing this:

Buddies

Mentors
