Special Needs Ministry
The Wonderfully Made Ministry serves individuals of all abilities. Our mission is to connect those with special needs and their families with Jesus Christ. For our children, teens and adults, we have both a self-contained learning environment and an inclusive approach. Inclusion is our goal, but we do consider safety and family preferences. We work closely with families, so that our buddies and mentors can help each individual feel loved, while connecting with Jesus Christ at his or her level.
Our mission is to connect individuals with special needs with Jesus Christ.
There are various ways that we work toward accomplishing this:
Connect With Peers
Opportunities for the individual to connect with their peers in a large group/small group setting (children and teens) or in a connect group setting (adults)
“Buddies” who partner with children and teens during church programming
“Mentors’ who partner with adults in connect groups or service opportunities
